Chicken spice mix
Prep time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tsp onion powder (non-granulated is preferred)
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder (non-granulated)
- 1 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper (reduce or omit for mild version)
- 1/2 tsp coarse ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp curry powder
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme (or 1/4 powdered)
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 ground ginger
Directions
Mix well and put in a shaker.
Cover one side of chicken with a spice mix. There's no salt (the brine has plenty). Place that side down on the grill and repeat on other side. Grill 3-4 minutes per side.
